BOOKING: A nonrefundable and nontransferable deposit of $499 per person is required to reserve a tour space. The deposit is due immediately to ensure your space/reservation. The final payment is due on or before June 2, 2026.
PASSPORT INFORMATION REQUIREMENT (TIME-SENSITIVE)
To secure the included domestic flight from Lima to Cusco, valid passport information must be submitted within 48 hours of paying the $499 non-refundable deposit.
PAYMENTS: Your final payment is due on the date stated on your invoice. To secure your reservation, you must pay timely installments until that date. Failure to make a timely installment payment may result in forfeiture of your deposit and cancellation of your trip reservation.
PAYMENTS MADE TOWARDS THE BALANCE WILL BE REFUNDED BASED ON THE CANCELLATION SCHEDULE BELOW. PAYMENTS ARE NON-TRANSFERABLE. If traveling with a roommate, please be aware that you will be responsible for the Single Occupancy fee if the roommate cannot be found and the reservation must be canceled. Best Life Trips™ will not be responsible for finding a roommate for another traveler.
Payment by check: The customer will be responsible for bank service fees charged on returned checks.
CANCELLATIONS, REFUNDS, AND TRIP INTERRUPTIONS: Due to the nature of group travel and contracting with service providers, deposits made cannot be refunded or transferred. Unused hotel accommodations, features, or segments of the purchased tour are non-refundable and non-exchangeable for other services. Travel insurance is not included in the tour price and must be purchased separately.
CANCELLATION PROCEDURE, FEES, & SCHEDULE: If you need to cancel your booking, please notify us immediately using the link: https://www.bestlifetrips.com/cancellations. Cancellation fees will be assessed per person according to the following schedule and are based on the date you submit the cancellation form via the link provided (phone, text, or email cancellations are not accepted).

INTERNAL/DOMESTIC FLIGHTS: As noted in the itinerary, we include two internal flights (Lima-Cusco). Per the airline's booking policy, name changes are not permitted for this trip.
**Note: Cancellation and transfer schedules for cruises, safaris, custom trips, international trips, and certain special events and/or private trips are often stricter and may differ from the schedule above.
These exceptions are outlined in the cancellation policies for each trip. Airfare purchased on your behalf by Best Life Trips LLC is subject to the airline’s cancellation policies.
**Non-refundable deposits: If we make special arrangements for you that require payment of non-refundable deposits to suppliers, we may subtract any such deposit from any refund due to you. This includes any credit card processing fees.
REFUND POLICY: If you request a refund, please note that any credit card processing fees incurred during the initial transaction will be deducted from the refund amount. This deduction is necessary to cover the non-refundable fees charged by the credit card processing company.
No refunds will be provided for any unused tour portion once the tour begins, including if you leave a tour for any reason, miss the tour’s departure date, or are removed from a tour. There are no exceptions to this cancellation and refund policy, including weather, civil strife, personal, family, medical emergencies, or any other circumstances beyond our control. For this reason, we highly recommend purchasing trip cancellation and interruption insurance.
HEALTH CONDITION AND PACE OF THE TRIP: We want everyone to have the best possible experience during this trip. Please note that this trip involves extensive walking, and you must ensure you’re comfortable with the pace and physical requirements. If you find it challenging to walk for long periods, rely on a wheelchair, or have other mobility concerns, this particular journey may not be the best fit. Our priority is your well-being, and we would love to help you find a trip that better suits your needs.
Altitude Advisory: Travelers should be aware that significant portions of this expedition involve travel to extreme altitudes, specifically the Humantay Lagoon trek (4,300 meters) and the optional Rainbow Mountain excursion (exceeding 5,000 meters). These activities are physically demanding and require sustained exertion; therefore, it is strongly recommended that all participants consult a physician before departure to discuss their physical readiness and monitor for potential symptoms of altitude sickness. Best Life Trips and its partners do not assume responsibility for passenger illnesses, pre-existing medical conditions, or the inherent risks associated with high-altitude trekking. Consequently, comprehensive travel insurance is mandatory for all travelers to ensure medical assistance or compensation in extreme cases. By submitting the non-refundable $499 deposit, participants acknowledge these health implications and confirm they are in the necessary physical condition to safely participate in the itinerary.
INCLUDED MEALS: While we have included some meals in the tour package, please note that we may be unable to accommodate every dietary need. We will cater to various dietary preferences and restrictions, including allergies, but we cannot guarantee that all specific requirements will be met. To help us prepare, please notify us in advance of any dietary restrictions or allergies. Additionally, we will cover only the cost of meals from the arranged menu.
LAND ONLY: If a Land-Only package is selected, the traveler is responsible for arranging the hotel and airport transportation, except for the group Bethel trip packages.
FLIGHTS: Best Life Trips™ is not responsible for any portion of the trip that is missed due to flight delay or cancellation, and/or transfer delay or cancellation. The tour will commence on the scheduled date and time, and the traveler is responsible for catching up with the group if delayed.
TRAVEL INSURANCE:
International Trips: Travel Insurance is mandatory for everyone traveling on International Groups; proof of coverage is required to travel. Proof of coverage must be provided when the trip is paid in full.
Airlines, cruise lines, and resorts do not reimburse fees for trips canceled for reasons beyond your control (weather, aircraft issues, loss of employment, health, or family issues, etc.). If you choose to decline insurance, Best Life Trips LLC will not be responsible for penalties or fees should you cancel. Any portions of the tour missed due to a medical emergency are non-refundable.
TOUR ARRANGEMENTS AND PRICING: Accommodations will be provided in twin-bedded rooms if Double, Triple, or Quadruple occupancy with private baths. Single occupancy is available in a single-bedded room. Meals are included only as specified on the itinerary. Please note that the sequence of days in the itinerary is subject to change at Best Life Trips™' discretion. We cannot alter the itinerary to accommodate individual travelers' requests, needs, or changes.
